This innovative approach allows a very precise distinction between normal sleeping behavior and the onset of birth. Furthermore, the system works completely WITHOUT sensors on the mare. This has two decisive advantages: neither is the movement affected nor can sensors fall off or slip. This unique combination enables a very high reliability in the detection of births and at the same time an extremely low error rate. For maximum convenience, you can configure the birth alert in seconds via the app.

The selection of up to two contacts to be contacted by call or push notification ensures reliable alerting.

Monitoring Function

Especially for horses with health issues, it is beneficial to monitor specific behavioral patterns. The HORSE PROTECTOR has integrated the monitoring function for this purpose. This feature allows you to define individual behavioral patterns, triggering an alarm when they occur or are absent. For example, you can set a minimum feeding time. If your horse eats too little, the monitoring will immediately alert you. Similarly, you can monitor maximum lying times, frequent lying down, and much more. Such warnings can be particularly useful after surgery, aiding in monitoring the rehabilitation period. Additionally, the monitoring provides helpful supplementary information for diagnosis in cases of suspected illness.

Stable Guard Function

Stable Guard Function In addition to analyzing horse behavior, the artificial intelligence (AI) of the guardian reliably distinguishes between humans and animals. The integrated Stable Guard relies on this ability. In this process, the ACARiS AIregisters every movement within its field of view. Unlike traditional motion detectors, the AI can differentiate between a cat, a dog, a horse, and a human, for example. The guardian triggers a security alarm only when a human is detected within its field of view. This ensures that you only receive an alarm when your horse's safety is at risk! You can conveniently set the time window in which you want to be alerted anytime through the app. In addition to its use in horse stalls, the Stable Guard function of the HORSE PROTECTORs enables monitoring of stable aisles, tack rooms, and other sensitive indoor areas. Combined, this guardian system offers complete surveillance for your entire facility!

In addition to live analyses and alarms, the HORSE PROTECTOR provides extensive behavioral statistics about your horse. Through the ACARiS App, you have direct access to live summaries of the last 6 hours and daily reports. With the help of live reports, you can easily see your horse's activities in the past few hours. Furthermore, the AI generates summaries of the previous day every morning at 6 o'clock. These summaries make it easy for you to see when and for how long your horse has been lying down, outside the box, and much more. Moreover, the last day is automatically compared with the last seven days. This way, you always know how your horse is doing and whether its behavior has changed over the past few days.

Images and Videos

The HORSE PROTECTOR also provides you with images and videos of your horse. Through the ACARiS App for smartphones, tablets, and computers, you can observe your horse via live stream anytime, anywhere. Additionally, the guardian allows you to retrospectively track your horse's behavior through saved videos and photos. The special high-resolution 4K wide-angle camera combined with the IR lamp enables excellent image quality – both day and night. Moreover, if needed, you can share access to your guardian with other users. Especially for stable owners or when multiple people care for your horse, this feature offers significant added value!
